Morgan Super Sports

1936

Having acquired a garage in Malvern Link, Worcestershire, company founder Henry Morgan wasn’t satisfied with merely selling cars, so he moved into designing – first a motorcycle, then a three-wheeler. A factory was established in 1910 and soon produced 1000 motorcycle engine trikes a year. Originally Morgan built trikes that were not in the slightest bit sporting but, as they were used in competition, the company started making performance versions. With tiny tapering tails and tiny zero screens rather than windscreens, the Super Sports came to be regarded as the classic three-wheeled Morgan.
