A great family day out
More than just a car museum, Cotswold Motoring Museum and Toy Collection is a fun day out in the Cotswolds that offers something for all the family. Nestled in the quaint and picturesque village of Bourton-on-the-Water, you’ll discover seven galleries packed with vintage-car collections, a fascinating and unique toy collection, a History of Motoring exhibition and children’s TV favourite Brum.
Voted as the number one attraction in Bourton-on-the-Water and Classic Car Weekly’s 2011 Museum of the Year, we like to think we’re one of the best days out in the Cotswolds. With retro collections from the Fifties, Sixties and Seventies, plus classic cars and memorabilia from the Twenties, Thirties and Forties, a visit to the museum is a treat for browsers and car enthusiasts alike.
One of the museum’s biggest attractions is Brum (a hit with kids and adults alike), TV’s supercar hero whose televised escapades all started and ended within this very museum.
With several showrooms covering a massive 7500ft² within the original converted 17th-century watermill, the Motoring Museum is a superb place to spend a day out with the family, come rain or shine.
You can enjoy a great family day out for under £20 – a family ticket (two adults and two children) is just £19.75.
