More than just a car museum, The Cotswold Motoring Museum and Toy Collection is a fun day out in the Cotswolds that offers something for all the family. Nestled in the quaint and picturesque village of Bourton-on-the-Water, you’ll discover seven galleries packed with vintage car collections, a fascinating and unique toy collection, History of Motoring exhibition and children’s TV favourite Brum. In fact, there’s so much to see and do, it’s like seven days out in one!
Voted as the number one attraction in Bourton on the Water and Classic Car Weekly’s 2011 Museum of the Year*, we like to think we’re one of the best days out in the Cotswolds. With retro collections from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s plus classic cars and memorabilia from the 20’s, 30’s and 40’s, a visit to the museum is a treat for browsers and car enthusiasts alike.
One of the museum’s biggest attractions is Brum (a hit with even the big kids!), TV’s supercar hero who televised escapades started and ended within this very museum.
With over seven showrooms covering a massive 7500ft² within the original converted 17th century watermill, come rain or shine the Motoring Museum is a superb way to spend a family day out, even on rainy days.
For a fun family day out in Gloucestershire, the Cotswold Motoring Museum is great value. You can enjoy a great family day out for under £17 – a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) is just £16.50.
